		Elevyn is designed encourage social entrepreneurship, where it's not just about businesses that make money but businesses which can make money through helping social causes. The Elevyn website based on the concept of 'the more the sale of your item helps social causes, the better your item will sell!'
Every Shop has a Cause
		So here's how it works, every shop has to adopt a Cause as a prerequisite. The Cause can be anything from social causes (eg: raising money for the orphanage) to environmental causes (eg: save the tiger). The more relevant your Cause is to your products, the more likely it will encourage buyers. For example: Elevyn's pilot project, Soning Craft, sells indigenous crafts. Soning Craft's Cause is the SINOMPURU Women's Group - which is a group of women made up of single mothers and underprivalaged women. Their project is to raise money to school their children.

		How do I start a Cause? Once you've registered an account on Elevyn, you can start a Cause from your dashboard by first writing a short proposal (max 200 words). If your proposal is successful, you will be sent an invitation to begin your Cause page within a week. We encourage every Cause to have a field partner such as a non-governmental organizations (NGOs) or any agencies which can verify your project. How much does it cost to start a Cause? Starting a Cause is free! Do I have to own a shop to start a Cause? Nope. You just need to register an account with Elevyn which is also free. Once my Cause gets its target fund, how do I get the money? The funds raised by the Cause is held in a escrow account. Once it reaches its target – Elevyn will channel the funds to the officer of the Cause.
